New Starbucks Milan Reserve Roastery opens with 3C Payment Solution

This week sees the grand opening of the first European Starbucks Reserve Roastery site in Milan Italy and 3C Payment is proud to be part of this prestigious milestone.

The huge 2,300 sq metre Roastery site is situated within the grand historic Poste building in Piazza Cordusio and offers an amazing customer experience for Italian coffee lovers.

The location of Milan is hugely significant as it was the Italian espresso culture that first inspired Howard Schultz 35 years ago to create the Starbucks experience.

The marble-floored store will offer a "theatre of coffee roasting, brewing and mixology", as well as cocktails, pizza, bread and ice cream. Basically put this is unlike any other coffee location with heated, marble-topped coffee counter, a mezzanine cocktail bar and a state-of-the-art, on-site roastery.

3C Payment is providing the full payment experience for Starbucks Milan with their market leading 3C POS pay@counter and portable pay@table solutions.

“We very much hope that residents and visitors to Milan enjoy their fantastic new Starbucks Reserve Roastery and 3C Payment look forward to delivering a seamless payment experience for them.”

“We are also delighted to bring our industry leading 3C POS quick service payment solution into Italy. This allows brands such as Starbucks to deploy a standardized payment solution across Europe and beyond.” Michele Ferraris Chief Executive Officer 3C Payment.

Having already deployed a 3C Payment solution across UK franchise stores, Italy will be the first mainland Europe Starbucks site to benefit from the Oracle OPI validated 3C POS solution which ensures speed, resilience and security.
