3C Payment’s Integra Pay@Reception, and Pay@Table terminal solutions achieve Oracle Validated Integration with Oracle Payment Interface for Oracle Hospitality

The 3C Payment point-to-point encrypted (P2PE) solutions allow Oracle Hospitality customers to benefit from specialized PMS transaction flows and mobile restaurant functionality, which improve efficiency, reduce staff errors and ensure a great customer experience.

3C Payment, a Gold Level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), today announced it has achieved Oracle Validated Integration of 3C Integra terminal solutions for Pay@Reception and Pay@Table, with Oracle Payment Interface (OPI) version 6.1. With over 30 years’ experience within the Hospitality segment, 3C Payment offers a feature rich, secure payment processing platform with multiple front end cross channel solutions that can route transactions to any major acquirer.

For the Pay@Reception solution, payments are initiated through the merchant workstation and the Oracle OPERA PMS (Property Management System) servers, which are then communicated through the OPI driver to the hosted 3C Integra platform. Payment requests are sent directly from the 3C Integra platform to the 3C payment terminal devices on property.

With Pay@Table, 3C payment terminals communicate with the Oracle Hospitality Simphony 2.x or RES 5.x servers directly over the merchants' local network through the OPI driver installed on the merchant’s workstation or on the Oracle hosted server above property. These new integrations compliment the existing Oracle Validated Integration for 3C Pay@Counter terminal solution for hospitality merchants within Quick Service industries, who are now benefitting from fast, secure & feature rich EMV transaction flows. This now means that 3C Payment is able to offer Oracle Hospitality merchants a full suite of payment solutions with integrations validated by Oracle.

To achieve Oracle Validated Integration, Oracle partners are required to meet a stringent set of requirements that are based on the needs and priorities of the customers.

Hotel merchants require seamless secure payments integrated to their PMS which incorporate a number of highly specialized transaction flows. The 3C OPI Pay@Reception PMS solution includes features such as cross channel tokenization, secure pre-auth handling and cancellation, late charge / no show payment functionality and dynamic currency conversion. The solution is validated for OPI with both 3C P2PE Verifone and Worldline terminals giving the merchant a choice of payment devices. Pay@Table merchants expect a quick, seamless secure table management service initiated through a mobile payment device. The 3C OPI Pay@Table solution includes features such as split bill and discreet tip functionality, and quick recall of all open bills without having to return to the workstation. Managing multiple tables at once improves efficiency, reduces operational errors, and ensures customers can relax and enjoy enhanced table service. 3C Pay@Table is validated for OPI with both the Verifone vx680 and Worldline Yoximo.

“3C Payment has been providing secure hosted processing of Oracle Hospitality payments for over three decades to the leading global brands, comments Tim Goodwin, Chief Operating Officer, 3C Payment. “Having one of the largest existing Oracle Hospitality install bases, it is imperative that both our existing and new clients are able to interface to the latest Oracle payment specification. I am therefore delighted that the latest OPI v6.1 validation of these integrations extends our wide range of flexible deployment options to meet the specific needs of our hospitality merchants.”

Achieving Oracle Validated Integration gives our customers confidence that the integration between 3C Integra and Oracle Payment Interface (OPI) version 6.1. is functionally sound and performs as tested,” said David Hicks, vice president, Worldwide ISV, OEM and Java Business Development, Oracle.  “For solutions deployed on-premises, in the cloud, or both, Oracle Validated Integration applies a rigorous technical review and test process that helps to reduce deployment risk and improves the user experience of the partner’s integrated offering.”
