3C Payment partners with CONECS to add e-meal voucher cards to its range of payment solutions in France

3C Payment has announced a new partnership with CONECS, the platform that manages transaction flows for next-generation electronic meal voucher cards, to expand its range of payment features and value-adds for food and beverage customers in France.

The meal voucher card is an alternative payment method that eases the administrative burden of paper vouchers for merchants, and ensures a simple and seamless payment process for customers. With the CONECS platform, 3C Payment is now able to offer this alternative payment method to major food & beverage outlets in France”, said Damien Estrade, Head of Business Development at 3C Payment.

The Conecs e-meal vouchers operate with 3C Payments “3C POS” pay@counter solution and  are now available for use at food chain Pret A Manger across France. With a proven track record of successful deployments to food & berverge chains across the Globe, the 3C Payment and Oracle Simphony solution operates via the new Oracle Payment Interface (OPI), and is the first certified solution available in France. Pret a Manger stores in France will now benefit from the speed, resilience and security that this solution provides.

The transition to e-meal vouchers facilitates the process for all involved, be it issuers, merchants, businesses or users. Working with 3C Payment, we have taken care to consider all of its operational constraints in order to offer a product with real added value, particularly for seamless payments”, said Vincent Toche, President of CONECS.

The meal voucher market in France is worth 6 billion euros, with 780 million vouchers being used every year by 4 million employees. E-meal vouchers come with a number of practical advantages and offer enhanced security for both merchants and users.
