3C Payment is very excited to announce the launch of 3C Pay@Bar to complement our existing range of Food & Beverage solutions.
Launched at the Oracle Food & Beverage EMEA Partner event in London on Tuesday 16th July, Pay@Bar introduces the newly developed 3C FastPay functionality, to create a faster flow of transaction entry at the point of sale.
Pay@Bar is ideal for busy bar environments where a highly efficient speedy customer journey is required, to help bar staff turn around more customers and increase revenue. Pay@Bar allows multiple transactions to be completed at the same time via multiple payment devices enabling a smoother faster flow of transaction entry at the point of sale, and a faster bar service for both staff and customers.
With Pay@Bar, drinks orders are entered on the workstation and processed via 3C FastPay functionality which displays the amount immediately on the Pin Entry Device (PED). The PED and workstation are directly associated to each other via the bar staff login ID or swipe card meaning staff can manage multiple payments increasing speed of service. When the order has been entered, the system is immediately freed up for the next server preventing workstation lock down.
Pay@Bar is highly configurable to adapt to business needs. Configurable features include Suspend and Send where checks can be converted to Pay@Table checks for later payment without any further interaction with the workstation, and ‘follow me’ functionality where checks can be created on one workstation and recalled on a different one with the same revenue centre for add-ons to the check. Split Bill, DCC and Tip functionality can all be enabled if required.
Pay@Bar is currently compatible with Oracle Simphony 2.7 MR4 interface, and remains fully OPI compliant. As with 3C Pay@Counter and Pay@table solutions, transaction messages with Pay@Bar are encrypted so no sensitive so not card data enters the POS interface, and it offers centralized reporting to the Oracle Simphony interface.
“We are delighted to further enhance the 3C portfolio by launching Pay@Bar to revolutionize the payment process in busy bars. Our first pilot customers are already showing fantastic results and seeing the benefits of a faster, more efficient bar payment experience. We are really looking forward to rolling out the solution to new and existing customers.”Craig Borrett, Product Director, 3C Payment.
The first confirmed customers using Pay@Bar went live this month.
